Once in Diano Marina, exit the Aurelia
and take Via degli Oleandri, one of the many narrow streets leading to the sea, following it to the end. There, on our private beach (separated by a mere laurel hedge) stands Hotel La Baia. We chose this name for our hotel (“baia” meaning “bay”), not just because of the location (right on the Diano Marina Bay), but also because we wanted it to be a desirable destination for travellers, as a safe harbour for boaters.
